I am a Dharma girl you can say. My arrival to Canada was sponsored by a Christian Church in the 1980's. Our family was introduced to Christianity and went to Sunday services for a couple of years.  Some years gone by and my family slowly drifted from Church as I did also. But Buddhism found me when I met my best friend at a Bus stop. We happened to be taking the same bus and our time together there allowed us to talk and share conversations.  When the seed is ripen, things fall in place. Naturally, we became good friends and Buddhism became our link.  Even though, I was introduced to Christianity first, the teaching of Buddha gave me comfort and it made sense to me so I became the Dharma girl.
